A Message from Gerber® on the Good Start® Transition

On November 1, 2022, Gerber® began the transition of the Good Start® infant formula business to Perrigo, an experienced company with a long history in the infant formula business. This will help increase access to safe, affordable infant formula for parents and caregivers.

We realize it has been a year full of questions for all parents, and especially for parents who use infant formula. We are always here for you. FAQs:

Are Good Start® formulas being discontinued?

  • No, Good Start® formulas are not being discontinued, they will just transition to their new home with Perrigo.

Can I still buy Good Start® formulas?

  • Yes, Good Start® formulas remain available for purchase in store and online, including Gerber.com. For assistance, please contact the Gerber Parent Resource Center, available 24/7 at 1-800-4-GERBER.

Which products are transitioning over to Perrigo?

  • Good Start®’s line of standard formulas including Good Start® Gentle Pro, Soothe Pro and Gentle Soy are transitioning to Perrigo.
  • Gerber will continue to develop and supply baby and toddler foods including purees, meals, and snacks.

I have a coupon for Good Start® formula, can I still use it?

  • Yes, you can still use Good Start® formula coupons through the listed expiration date.

I currently access Good Start® through the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program and Good Start® is currently WIC-authorized in my state. Can I still get Good Start® through the WIC program?

  • Yes, Gerber will continue to fulfil our existing WIC contracts to ensure there is uninterrupted supply
