You can enter Gerber Photo Search between May 31 at 9:00AM EDT and June 10 at 11:59PM EDT.

Look out for an update in July! Potential winners will receive an email from Gerber in late June. Gerber may also contact potential winners from official verified Gerber pages. We will never reach out from an unverified social handle or ask you for your credit card information.

Your little one must be between one (1) day old and four (4) years old at the time of entry to be eligible.

Gerber Photo Search 2023 is open to individuals who are legal residents of the 50 United States or DC and are at least eighteen (18) years old and the parents or legal guardians of a child that is between one (1) day and four (4) years old as of the date of entry.

To be considered valid, all entries for this year's Photo Search must be submitted through our website portal.

Our rules state that there is a maximum of one entry per eligible child. Only one entry per eligible child will be accepted. If you have more than one eligible child and they are different ages, you can submit a separate entry for each one, but different email addresses must be used. Multiples like twins or triplets should be submitted in the same entry.

We are not requiring videos as part of this year’s submission.

The throwback photo is a required part of this year’s application.

While the throwback photo is a required part of this year’s submission, we understand that not everyone has access to baby photos of themselves. Please do your best to share a photo of yourself as a little one from 0 – 10 years old, or your earliest available photo. However, the other contest rules still apply to the throwback photo.

All entries are final and cannot be removed or resubmitted. Make sure to double check your entry on the preview page prior to clicking ‘Submit.’

You or an immediate family member must take your little one’s photo during the entry period. You may not use photos taken by individuals outside of your family, including professionals.

Your little one’s entry photo must be taken during the entry period – between May 31 and June 10, 2023.

While full-color photos are preferred, we will accept black & white shots of your little one.

Yes, you can enter using a collage as long as the photos of your little onewere taken during the entry period and each photo follows the rules.

Only your eligible little one(s) should be in the photo. In the case of multiples like twins or triplets, they should all be in the same photo. However, we understand if a parent’s hand or arm is showing and won’t disqualify a photo if that happens.

Please make sure that you don’t prominently feature any third-party trademarks, logos, artwork or music with your entry. Submissions may not violate anyone’s copyrights or trademark rights.

The child in the entry must be fully clothed. No bathtub or diaper photos, please!

Filtered photos will not be accepted. Small tweaks to exposure or other settings are OK if they help make the image more clear. However, please keep other editing to a minimum.

When you successfully submit your entry, your screen will show a message sharing that your application has been received. We will also send you an email confirmation message from Gerber (make sure to check your spam folder!). Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm whether specific individual entries have been received.

In everything we do, we seek to represent babies from all communities. A panel of diverse judges – comprised of Gerber and Nestlé USA employees – will review all entries beginning from the date of entry. The panel of judges will spend about 4 weeks reviewing entries – including during the call to entry period – and looking for a standout parent and baby duo with a story to share, whether it’s about how parents have nurtured their baby, built and/or supported their community, had a unique start to life, or any of the variety of experiences that make parent and baby special. 

Gerber has a longstanding partnership with March of Dimes, which works hard to provide care and resources to parents and babies who need them the most. For the second year in a row, we’re proud to have the opportunity to grow this our Photo Search program by matching the winning baby’s prize with a donation to support March of Dimes’ maternal and infant health programs.

We encourage you to share your excitement on social media with #GerberBabyThrowback and by tagging @Gerber. Note that sharing does not impact your Photo Search entry, but you will be entered to win additional prizes when you share on social from a public profile.

All completed submissions are given the same level of consideration, regardless of which day they were submitted during the entry period.

Yes, the throwback photo should be of the parent or caregiver who is applying on behalf of their child.

The Photo Search winner will receive a $25,000 check and additional prizes from partners including Gerber Childrenswear, ezpz and Beis Travel. In addition, the winner will serve as the 2023 Gerber Baby and have an honorary role on Gerber's Executive Team as Chief Growing Officer for up to one (1) year. While we prefer that your throwback photo be of you as a baby (between 0-4 years old), we understand that not everyone has access to baby photos of themselves. Therefore, age is flexible. However, your throwback should follow the rest of the rules.
